ECU AMA Earns Three Nominations at 2024–2025 Student Organization Awards

We’re excited to share that ECU AMA has received three nominations at the 2024–2025 Student Organization Awards! Our chapter is nominated for Greatest Strides, Outstanding New Student Organization, and Outstanding Student Organization of the Year. This recognition reflects the hard work and perseverance of our members over the past year.

A Commitment to Excellence

At ECU AMA, our members are dedicated to personal and professional growth. This year alone, we organized more than ten events and workshops designed to improve skills and make a positive impact on the ECU community. Our organization thrives on collaboration and shared experiences.

The nomination for Outstanding New Student Organization underscores our foundation and the effective strategies we implemented. Since our inception, we have grown our membership by over 50%, demonstrating our resonance with students and faculty alike.

Making Significant Strides

The Greatest Strides award nomination holds special significance for us. It highlights the remarkable progress we've made since our founding. For instance, we increased engagement at our events by tenfold compared to last year. From brainstorming innovative ideas to executing successful initiatives, each member has played a vital role in our development.

For instance, our latest Resume & Internship Workshop drew more than 70 participants and included AMA Triangle, Jennifer Best and Dana Newell, who provided valuable insights. These achievements highlight our dedication to offering meaningful experiences for attendees.

Receiving the nomination for Outstanding Student Organization of the Year is our highest honor. This recognition not only reflects our members' hard work but also showcases the supportive network we've built at East Carolina University.
